Ards RFC Mini Section Support Friends of Cystic Fibrosis
Ards RFC Mini Section are proud to support their Club President, Mike Heath in his fundraising efforts for children with Cystic Fibrosis. Here at Ards Mini Section, we have a fiesty little player who has Cystic Fibrosis. He gives his all to his rugby, his team and his club.
Ards rugby club donated £2000 from their Annual Gala Dinner in April 2007 to the Cystic Fibrosis Unit at the Allen Ward, RVH. At the request of staff, the Ards club purchased £2000 worth of equipment which was handed over by Ards President Michael Heath to Head Physio Joyce Murray and Senior Staff Nurse Martina O'Reilly.
Following a fundraising weekend, the club have donated The Vest Airway Clearance System to the Allen Ward at the RVH. Thanks to everyone who made a donation or helped in any way.
